A 12-month renewal calendar with automatic 90, 60, 30, and 7-day alerts, Slack or email routing, and predicted dates with confidence levels.
The renewal calendar
Renewals shows a forward twelve-month view of every renewal across your stack, grouped by month and sorted soonest-first. Each row shows the renewal date, current annual spend, days until renewal, and the owner. Past-due renewals get a dedicated bucket at the top so stale registry data is easy to clean up.
When Cubbie has usage data from a vendor admin connection, rows also carry a dormant-seat hint — the basis for what to ask for in the renewal conversation. From any row, jump into the per-subscription renewal-prep view to get ready for the negotiation.
Automatic alerts: 90, 60, 30, 7
For every subscription with a renewal date, Cubbie generates reminders 90, 60, 30, and 7 days before the date. Alerts re-sync automatically whenever renewal dates change — after a CSV import, an integration sync, or a manual edit.
A practical rhythm to pair with them:
- 90 days: decide keep, shrink, or replace — and pull the usage data
- 60 days: open the conversation with the vendor or start a quote request
- 30 days: finalize terms and route approvals
- 7 days: confirm the decision actually got executed
Route alerts to Slack or email
From Notifications, connect a Slack channel (via an incoming webhook URL) or an email distribution list, then choose which event kinds to receive — upcoming renewals, spend anomalies, and high-priority rightsizing recommendations.
Predicted renewals
Not every renewal date is known. Predicted renewals lists every subscription with a predicted next renewal in the coming window (180 days by default), each with a confidence badge that tells you the basis:
- Vendor-reported — read from a vendor admin connection; the most reliable
- Customer-entered — set by your team
- Inferred from billing cycle — extrapolated from cadence; verify before relying on it
Treat inferred dates as prompts to confirm the real date against the contract or an invoice.
