Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2025
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out conduct requirements for all users of the Cubbie software procurement marketplace. This policy supplements our Terms of Service and applies to buyers, vendors, and any other users of the platform.
1. Marketplace Integrity
You agree not to:
- Submit fake, misleading, or fraudulent product listings, reviews, or company information.
- Attempt to manipulate trust scores, rankings, or review ratings through artificial means, including incentivized reviews, review swapping, or automated review generation.
- Impersonate another user, company, or Cubbie employee.
- List products that you do not have the right to sell or distribute.
2. Technical Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service beyond what is permitted through our published APIs.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, internal systems, or non-public features.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code to the Service.
- Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the availability or performance of the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
3. Content Standards
All content submitted to Cubbie, including product descriptions, reviews, and profile information, must be accurate, lawful, and not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights. Content must not contain hate speech, harassment, threats, or any material that is obscene or defamatory.
4. Transaction Conduct
Buyers and vendors must engage in transactions honestly and in good faith. This includes providing accurate payment information, fulfilling purchase obligations, and resolving disputes through the platform's dispute resolution process before initiating chargebacks.
5. API Usage
If you access the Cubbie API, you must comply with the published rate limits and authentication requirements. API keys must be kept confidential. Sharing API credentials or using them in a way that could compromise platform security is prohibited.
6. Enforcement
Cubbie reserves the right to investigate violations of this policy and take appropriate action, including: issuing warnings, suspending or terminating accounts, removing content, withholding payouts, and reporting illegal activity to law enforcement. We may also permanently ban users who engage in repeated or severe violations.
7. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of conduct that violates this policy, please report it to trust@cubbie.com. Reports may be submitted anonymously. We review all reports and take action where warranted.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP as the platform evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
