Cubbie Points: how earning and redeeming works

Earn 1% back in points on every purchase, redeem from a policy-aware catalog, and mind the 365-day expiry.

Earning points

Cubbie Points are the rewards layer on Cubbie purchases: you earn 1% back in points on every software purchase made through the platform. Points accrue to your buyer org automatically — no enrollment step, no codes.

Newly earned points settle after a short hold (seven days) before they are available to redeem; the hold protects everyone against refund churn.

The redemption catalog

Open Cubbie Points in your buyer dashboard to see your balance and the rewards catalog. Rewards are organized in tiers, and the catalog is policy-aware — built so redemptions stay defensible under company gift policies:

  • Personal rewards across tiers, from practical to premium
  • Gift cards delivered digitally through fulfillment partners
  • Concierge-tier experiences fulfilled by the Cubbie team for the largest balances

Set a preferred reward category and the catalog bubbles matching rewards to the top.

Redeeming

1. Open the Cubbie Points page and choose a reward your available balance covers.

2. Confirm where the reward should be delivered.

3. Track status on the same page — digital rewards are submitted to the fulfillment partner, and you will see the state move from submitted through to fulfilled.

Expiry

Points expire 365 days after they are earned if unredeemed. A simple habit: review your balance each quarter and redeem at least once a year so nothing lapses.

Notes for finance teams

Cubbie keeps records of earning and redemption activity for your org, so finance has a paper trail when they want one. For developers: in API responses and data exports, points fields appear under legacy credit_ names — same numbers, older naming.
