I like the customizable cropping tools as they allow me to save templates and save time in my design projects. Affinity Photo has high capacity to handle high resolution images without affecting performance. The quality in its retouching tools allows me to work with multiple layers to experiment with different versions of an image; it works on both my laptop and iPad.
Compared to other photo editors ROI is much better, as it offers many of the same features as competitors, but at a one-time cost instead of a subscription.
I appreciate that Affinity includes a help window that details all the program's features, while many other photo-editing apps, including those by Adobe, make you go online for help.
I am yet to come across a problem that this software can not solve. The interface is intuitive and passing between iPad Pro and Windows is seamless. The old school pricing model is such a breath of fresh air.
