MSA
Master Services Agreement — the umbrella legal contract between a buyer and a software vendor.
An MSA defines the overall terms of engagement (liability caps, IP ownership, confidentiality, termination, dispute resolution). Individual orders or SOWs reference the MSA rather than re-negotiating those terms each time.
