The future of software

Join us for our Conference & Holiday Party at The Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco to discuss & connect with those building the future of software.

Thursday, December 10, 2026Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco

The experience

One day on where software is heading, the peers you spend it with, and 1 night free at the Ritz.

No stage, no speakers

Every session is a roundtable you sit at and talk in. 15 of them, 20 seats each, small enough that everyone gets heard.

Meet great people

Around 100 founders and C-level leaders from software companies, in a room built for comparing notes rather than listening.

One free night

Get 1 night free at the Ritz-Carlton on Wednesday, December 9, 2026 on us. Valid only for those with an active Cubbie account.

Roundtable #1

Choose one

How buyers find software now

AI-assisted shortlists, marketplaces, and what replaced the search-and-compare habit buyers had for fifteen years.

Pipeline that still converts

What is working in outbound, ABM, and partner-led motion in a year when everyone's inbox is automated.

Pricing for agent-era usage

Seats, consumption, or outcomes. How teams are repricing without repapering every contract.

Marketing when organic search dries up

Answer engines stopped sending clicks. What the teams who saw it coming built instead.

Founder-led sales, after the founder

Handing off the motion that only worked because it was you, without the number falling off a cliff.

12:00 PM

Lunch

Carry your conversation into lunch! Gluten free, Vegan, and vegetarian options are available.

1:00 PM

Roundtable #2

Choose one

What AI actually changed about shipping

Velocity, quality, and team shape after two years of it. The honest version, including what did not change.

Enterprise-ready without an enterprise team

SOC 2, security questionnaires, and procurement review when you are forty people and the buyer is forty thousand.

Product-led and sales-led, five years on

Where the hybrid motion actually lands, and what it costs to run both at once.

Building on models you don't control

Deprecations, price changes, and margin when a core dependency ships on someone else's roadmap.

Support when customers expect instant

Where deflection genuinely helps, where it quietly costs you the account, and how teams tell the difference.

2:00 PM

Break

Coffee, networking, and break.

2:30 PM

Roundtable #3

Choose one

Efficient growth and what boards ask now

Payback, burn multiple, and the bar that moved. With people who are in those meetings.

Retention when switching costs collapse

Migration got cheap. What actually keeps a customer when leaving is a weekend of work.

Org design when small teams ship more

Hiring, layers, and the case for staying deliberately small.

Raising, or not raising, in this market

What terms actually look like right now, and the case for taking nothing at all. From people on both sides of it.

What an exit looks like now

Strategic buyers, secondaries, and the quiet processes. With founders who have been through one.

3:55 PM

Closing circle

For something to be immortal, it does not need to be eternal. Time to say farewell!

5:30 PM

Private reception featuring leaders (C-Suite and equivalent) from Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Salesforce, and more.

FAQ

Who will be there?

Expect around 100 leaders in attendance. It's deliberately a room of peers rather than an audience. The whole day is roundtables, so the people at your table are the reason to come.

What kind of companies and roles?

Founders, CEOs, and C-level and VP leaders from software and SaaS companies (seed-stage through public) across every sector that sells software. Sectors run across developer tools & infrastructure, ai & data platforms, fintech, security & compliance, healthtech, martech & sales tech, vertical saas, and back office & operations. A share of the room is on the buying side too (the people choosing and running software stacks), which is the point of holding it at a marketplace.

What does a ticket cost?

$250 per person. That covers the full conference day. There is no tiered pricing.

What's this about a free night?

A room at Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco on Wednesday, December 9, 2026 (the night before the conference, with check-out on Thursday, December 10, 2026) is on us. It's a benefit for people with a Cubbie account: at registration you pick whether you're taking the room or waiving it, and give the email on your account so we can confirm it. One room per badge, and it costs nothing. Rooms are limited, so please only take one if you'll use it. You can change your answer later from your registration page.

Do I need a Cubbie account?

Not to buy a ticket. Registration, your badges, and everything on your registration page work off your email address alone. There's no login anywhere in the flow. The one thing an account unlocks is the free room night, which is a members-only benefit. Accounts are free, so if you want the room you can create one before you register.

Can I bring colleagues?

Yes. Add a badge for each person in one checkout, up to ten at a time, and we'll issue a badge for each of them.

Where and when is it?

Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, 600 Stockton Street, San Francisco, CA 94108. Thursday, December 10, 2026, 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM, party from 5:30 PM.

Can I change a name, transfer, or get a refund?

All three, from your registration page. Badge edits and transfers stay open until two days before the conference; self-service cancellation with a full refund closes seven days before. After that, email [email protected] and we'll help.

Are there speakers or presentations?

No. There is no stage, no slide deck, and nobody presenting at you. Every session is a facilitated roundtable of 20 people having an actual conversation, held under the Chatham House rule so it stays candid.

Can I host a roundtable?

Yes. Hosts facilitate a conversation, they don't present. Tell us the question you want your table to work through and our team will follow up. Propose a roundtable.

See you in San Francisco
