About rsyslog
rsyslog is a high-performance open-source log-processing daemon for Linux/Unix systems, the default syslog implementation on many distributions. It receives, filters, transforms, and forwards log messages at very high throughput, supporting TCP/TLS, queues, and outputs to files, databases, and remote collectors.
