Leader to Know: Tomas Martunas

We literally met on the White Bridge in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Around that time, Meta had just introduced its VR glasses, and we started talking about what the future might look like. Imagine looking at someone and instantly knowing who they are – it sounded like science fiction, but also incredibly exciting.

Back then, ChatGPT was still in its early days. It hallucinated frequently and could only work with offline data. At the same time, our CTO, Irmantas, was working on YouTube's Trust & Safety team, where he saw firsthand how valuable – and vulnerable – people's data had become.

We realized that personal data is the fuel of the AI era. Understanding someone's background can be important in almost every relationship – whether it's hiring, partnerships, sales, investing, dating, or simply deciding who to trust.

We looked for a tool that could help people understand what information about them already exists online, but we couldn't find one that did it well.

So, we decided to build Antibridge.

A long time ago – when I was around 16 years old.

Together with a few friends, we rented a van for a week, bought products wholesale, and traveled around reselling them. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was my first real taste of entrepreneurship and showed me how rewarding it is to build something yourself.

It depends on how broadly you define success.

If we're talking about success in life as a whole, it starts with strong relationships with your family. Health is equally important. A happy wife means a happy life, and seeing your children grow into successful, kind people is something I value deeply.

Professionally, success means building a positive atmosphere with my co-founders and team, working toward a shared vision, and creating something that genuinely helps other people.

At the end of the day, success is about knowing that what you're building creates real value and has a positive impact on others.

There have been many memorable moments.

We celebrate the small wins just as much as the big ones – product launches, company growth, and milestones in our team members' lives.

Even the challenging discussions and healthy debates are worth celebrating. They push us to think differently, improve, and become better tomorrow than we are today.
