Tiered Pricing
A pricing model where features and limits are bundled into named tiers (Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise).
Tiered pricing is the most common B2B SaaS model. The upside is simplicity for the buyer; the downside is feature gating, where a single needed feature pushes the buyer into a much higher tier. Common feature-gates include SSO, SCIM, audit logs, role-based access control, and SLA guarantees. Most enterprise procurement teams negotiate to unlock specific gated features rather than upgrading the entire tier.
